Resignation
Latin King: In order to leave the Latin Kings you either get jumped out or have the fear of getting murdered. But the jump out process is severely worse than the jump in process. Being jumped out could have a longer time limit or no time limit. Also, the gang will probably use weapons like a bat to the head or a bullet to the knee then you would be stripped of your crown. You can also walk away from the gangs with your colors based on your situation.
Crips: In order to leave the Crips you have to go through the same process of how you got into the gang. During the the jump out there is always a fear of weapons being used or if the gang is going to murder you after.
Aryan Brotherhood: The Aryan Brotherhood has the same policy as the MS-13's. The quote of the gang is "Blood In, Blood Out" which means since you made someone else's blood shed to get into the gang then your blood will be shed to get out of the gang.
MS-13's: Leaving the MS-13's is not an option and will never be tolerated. So once you are in the gang then you are in the gang for life. In March of 2004 a sixteen year old boy, Edgar Guzman, was brought before the U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Customers Enforcement in Colorado. He came to the U.S. illegally and was begging not to be deported because of his fear of the MS-13's.
"If I had stayed in Guatemala, members of the Slavatrucha gang would have killed me. I've seen them hit people with baseball bats and shoot them. I know they kill people. I know that if I go back to Guatemala they will torture me. They will kill me if I go back to Guatemala. They will kill me because I left the gang" (Guzman,Edgar).
